Want to join "Spirit of Adventure Bike Tours" for a group ride to Montauk? June 1-3rd

We will head out to North West NJ for some kayaking time at the Monksville Reservoir. The lake is in Long Pond Ironworks State Park, and is known for its old stone walls, furnaces and other remnants of a once industrious ironworking community. A great cause and a great bike tour. You will receive transportation for yourself, your goodies, AND your bicycle to the "Tour De Long Valley" Charity ride.July 29th for bike event. July 28th for pickup and overnight stay

First stop is on the Appalachian trail, to hike up to a beautiful overlook (about 90 minutes round trip for hike) before heading out for wine tasting. April 14 (Sat), 21(Sat), 28(Sat), May 6(Sun)

Everyone's favorite- the bike to New Hope ride. This is a sweet bike riding day. We start in Frenchtown NJ right next to the Delaware River. There is a rails to trails route that runs along the Delaware to Lambertville NJ. Than we cross the bridge into Frenchtown and have a late lunch. Let's have a lovely luncheon together, while paddling out for a tour of Lake Hopatcong. You will be picked up at the Mt Arlington Train Station and shuttled over to the Main Lake Market. Here they will prepare your lunch for our trip on the water while you peruse this adorable water front market. There is an upstairs tea room to visit for some beautiful views of the Lake.

The Musconetcong is a beautiful twisty river that flows through many farmlands in NJ until it ends at the Delaware River. Most of the river is the width of a two lane road. It is time for a beautiful romp on bicycles through NJ farmlands following an old rail trail that hugs the Musconetcong river. Often the views consist of horses, farmlands, fern fields, white picket fences, and livestock as we cross over railroad bridges of days now gone.
