Kayaking

Guided kayak tours of various rivers and lakes.

Kayak Tour “Lunch on the Lake”

Let's have a lovely luncheon together, while paddling out for a tour of Lake Hopatcong. You will be picked up at the Mt Arlington Train Station and shuttled over to the Main Lake Market. Here they will prepare your lunch for our trip on the water while you peruse this adorable water front market. There is an upstairs tea room to visit for some beautiful views of the Lake.

Kayak Bannermans Castle

Let's slip into the waters of the Hudson to circle around Pollepel Island and check out Bannerman Castle. This is a great little kayak get away from the City.

Kayak around Statue of Liberty

This event is not available at this time.

Kayak Merrill’s Creek

Let's take a water bound trip around Merrill's Creek. This lake is a very popular kayaking choice due to it's wonderful surroundings. Often we pass along side sail boats and fisherman out to enjoy the calm surroundings to create some great photographic opportunities.

Kayak Split Rock Reservoir

Arguably one of the prettiest lakes for Kayaking in NJ. Nestled away deep into Rockaway, travel to the lake is by dirt road, and there are no homes or structures along the water's edge.

Full Moon Kayak on Swartwood Lake

No need to paddle around Swartwood lake in the dark - the moonlight will take care of that for us. Swartswood lake is tucked away in Sussex County- no noise, no power boats, no stress. Just us and the moonlight.

Kayak WallKill River

The broad valley of the Wallkill River nestles between the main Appalachian Mountains and the New York-New Jersey Highlands, supporting much local agriculture. Native Americans knew the river as Twischsawkin, meaning "the land where plums abound". At least three prehistoric rock shelters have been found in archaeological digs in the region. Now you can paddle up this twisty river and have a rare opportunity to paddle a East Coast river that flows North!

Kayak Lake Aeroflex

Time for putting our kayaks in Lake Aeroflex while admiring the limestone outcroppings, variety of wildlife, and former railbeds that makes up this glacially formed lake. If you would like this tour scheduled for your group or party, please contact us.

Kayak the Musconetcong Damn with “Road House” Social

The Musconetcong is a beautiful twisty river that flows through many farmlands in NJ until it ends at the Delaware River. Most of the river is the width of a two lane road. It switches from flat water to several fun sections where the water rushes through some rocky sections.

Kayak Monksville Reservoir

We will head out to North West NJ for some kayaking time at the Monksville Reservoir. The lake is in Long Pond Ironworks State Park, and is known for its old stone walls, furnaces and other remnants of a once industrious ironworking community.

Full Moon Kayak Lake Aeroflex

The full moon is coming so its time for putting our kayaks in Lake Aeroflex while admiring the limestone outcroppings, variety of wildlife, and former railbeds that makes up this glacially formed lake.

Full Moon Kayak Lake Hopatcong

It's a full moon this night, so we will be taking out the kayaks (boats available) for a late night paddle on Lake Hopatcong. Paddling out in the center of a moonlit lake, with the twinkling lights of far away homes is certainly an exercise in escapism. Magical.
